About Me
Hi, I’m Kate Needham, a creative producer and storyteller passionate about bringing ideas to life through meaningful visual content.
I’m graduating in May 2026 with a B.A. in Creative Media Production from Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communications at the University of Oklahoma. Originally from McKinney, Texas, I’ve spent the past several years developing my skills in client-focused production, commercial storytelling, and videography.
As Senior Producer for Gaylord Hall Productions, I led a student-run client production company serving both internal and external partners. I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with organizations like the OU College of Fine Arts, OU School of Social Work, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, guiding projects from concept to completion and ensuring each story connects with its target audience.
I was honored to be named Gaylord College’s Outstanding Senior for 2025–2026 and to receive multiple national awards for my work.
More than anything, I care about creating content that feels intentional, impactful, and human. Whether I’m storyboarding for a commercial campaign or interviewing a client on camera, I strive to make work that resonates with audiences.
I’m currently pursuing opportunities in client production, commercial producing, and videography.
